Posted March 22, 201410 yr Hello, I am not completely new to Linux, but I definitely do not qualify myself as a guru. =) I have read numerous threads here and elsewhere regarding similar situations, and I have tried just about everything to figure this out, to no avail. We recently moved a server from New York to Florida and I am having an issue getting it to see our gateway device and other devices on the local network. This is when I have the interface set to dhcp. However, if I change it to static and assign ANY ip address (I ran nmap to check available ip addresses on our network), it returns the following: Error, some other host already uses address 192.168.1.94.
