Ubuntu 13.10 doesn't support hostapd

Hi , I can use the old hostapd-2.1 to set as a wireless Ap in Ubuntu 12.04. but in Ubutu 13.10 not.

the error message as follow:

Configuration file : /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf

nl80211 : Fail to set interface wlan0 into Ap mode

nl80211 : driver initialization faile

Where could I find the newest hostapd version to solve the

nl80211 driver initial fail problem?
