0x80070424 Windows Defender Does Not Exist.

I have windows 7,

SP1, running on a 4 GB Ram and 64 Bit..

Microsoft ForeFront 2010 would not turn on,

On further troubleshooting diagonised that the Defender Service wont start.

Services.msc does not have Windows Defender Service.

Unable to Start Defender

Error "The Specified service does not exist as an installed service" Error Code 0x80070424

I tried installing MSE but to no avail, even that wont start..

Tried to open Windows Update, that also gives the same error as does not exist.

Not sure how to proceed.. Need help ASAP..
