How can I identify (and delete) a background process generating an intermittent notification?

I am getting occasional notifications for a product called MyPCBackup, a cloud backup service offered by a company called JDIBackup, which came bundled with another product and which I accidentally installed. I have deleted the program and have been unable to find any registry keys with this name. But I still get the notifications intermittently. Each time the icon and notification appears briefly and then disappears. I can see the icon for the process ("GOffer") in the "Customize" list on the taskbar but when I click on "Show icon and notifications" the message says "This icon is not currently active. It will be shown the next time it becomes active".

Is there some way of identifying the process that is generating this message so I can delete it? I'm assuming that any process that was engineered to make it this difficult to remove is inherently untrustworthy.
