"Microsoft .NET Framework - Unhandled exception..." Error. Occurs on start up every time.

Hi everyone,

I've tried searching for a solution in many other forums but in order solve this problem I apparently had to have the exact same error message. However, I couldn't find a forum in which others had reported a problem exactly like mine. So far, every time I get this message on start up, on my desktop, I just click "Quit" and go on with my work.

I've recently put my computer back to its factory state because it was extremely cluttered and nearly impossible to work with. Everything was working fine until three days ago when I had to go through another windows update and this message appeared. However, just before the update, I installed just a few programs like Sony PC Companion, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Skype, and two others.

I do not know what to do now and so that's why I'm here.

Here is my error in full:

Microsoft .Net Framework

Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found.

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

If anyone needs more information from me, please don't hesistate to ask.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Cheers.
