Windows Explorer won't open.

Windows explorer (Not internet explorer) will refuse to open and I have no idea why. It gives me a message saying:

C:\Windows\explorer.exe

Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus.

I have done a full scan with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and Microsoft Security Essentials, as well as specifically scanning C:\Windows\ in it's entirety and found no virus. I believe there may be some sort of problem with my windows explorer, not allowing it to run. However I can still open files and folders with Windows Explorer. It is merely explorer.exe can not run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
