Posted February 27, 201410 yr Yahoo News Digest initially launched at CES in January as a U.S. only product, but today it spreads its wings and brings twice daily doses of news to UK readers. Importantly, the content is tailored to the region, and so won't provide U.S. news you're perhaps not so interested in. Yahoo News Digest delivers all the top news for a UK audience twice a day, right to your mobile device. Our Digests provide a definitive summary of all the need-to-know news so you can stay on top of what’s happening. With the launch of the UK edition, Yahoo has also added weather and statistics 'atoms', and content is curated the same as in the U.S. app – algorithmically produced but editorially curated. So you don't find yourself constantly reading the news, you'll get you're digest in the mornings, and then later on in the evening after the working day has done. I like the idea of this a lot. Yahoo is using its acquisition of Summly well, and I was impressed during my – albeit brief – hands on during CES. I'm looking forward to giving it a real try. Grab it for free at the App Store link below, and if you take it out for a test read I'd love to know how you like it. Free - Download Now Source: Yahoo UK Continue reading...
