Posted February 21, 201410 yr I have Outlook Express 6 and Windows XP. Since adding Gmail to my Outlook Express, I've been getting the following warning. Internet Security Warning The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value. Do you want to continue using this server? Yes No So far, I've only picked "Yes". How do I get rid of it? My Internet provider, Scottish and Southern Energy, has only been able to suggest checking the date and time on my computer and reducing the security level in Internet Options. Neither of these solved the problem. Following advice from the Gmail forum, I have also checked the time zone setting (GMT for the United Kingdom) but this didn't work either. Continue reading...
