Unable to update my windows xp

When i visit the Microsoft Windows Update. This will show up.

With the error number. 0x80244019

I just recently returned my computer to factory settings and it is now in sp2.

Yet the updates do not work.

I tried to update it manually from sp2 to sp3 but it asks me to upgrade my computer to sp2 first.

I don't understand why is it asking my to upgrade to sp2 first when the computer is already sp2.

Please help me out. Been stuck like this for a while already.
