script case problem (I'm new at it!)

Hi

Just joined. I have a frustrating problem with 'case' in a script.

If I use if...elif..fi it works so I know the commands in the case are OK.

It generates the random number OK but closes without processing the case ... esac

I upload it as txt file, not .sh

You're suggestions most welcome - thanks
