VSCO Cam has been updated to version 3.0, becoming more social and adding the VSCO Grid right into the app, among other improvements. VSCO has added a new section called Home, were you can now follow other VSCO users. You can either find people manually by searching for them, or select users from the VSCO Grid, a feed of images curated by VSCO.

But while social is the major addition of VSCO 3.0, it's also very low key, compared to other apps like Instagram. Where Instagram encourages likes, comments, and hashtags, VSCO Cam has none of those things. It's just a way to look at photos. For any photo in your feed, you can tap it, the tap the bars in the upper left corner to view things like the effect used, the ISO, and if the flash was on or off. You can also share images you like on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or through email, Messages, and AirDrop.

There are a number of other improvements and changes with VSCO Cam 3.0. The camera now contains new level and tilt functions to help you shoot straight pictures. You can order the different presets alphabetically in a single tap. Image Detail now supports pinch to zoom. The crop tool is now smoother and more accurate. Sharing has also been improved. You can now set VSCO Cam to automatically save photos you take in the app to your Camera Roll as well.

You can download VSCO Cam 3.0 in the App Store now.
