FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 2, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted May 2, 2013 I have 2 brand new computers, one Dell laptop and other Acer all-in-one Touchscreen with Windows 8. They initially came with McAfee Security Suite which has now been uninstalled. I am now having issues with Windows Update and Windows Defender Update. Neither will complete. I get error messages. Windows Defender Update downloads the updates but when it goes to install it comes back with error that could not complete due to connection might have failed. I have tried this several times in the past month and still same result and yes I have checked my internet connection.Windows Update hangs at 75% of downloading the updates and does nothing. I have tried a cold reboot and still getting same problems. This is happening on both my laptop and my All-in-one. View this thread Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
