FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 28, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 28, 2013 Just to make everyone aware, I recently downloaded and installed the KB2840159 update for Windows 7 Home Premium. The next time I started up, the system was slow and got stuck. When I restarted, the computer initiated Chkdsk. My screen was then filled with numerous "Replacing invalid security id with default security id" messages, and when Windows started, Explorer did not start. I got an error message "explorer.exe unable to start correctly. The application will now close. 0XC0000022" Tried numerous things, but the only thing that worked was a system restore from the point before this update was installed. I didn't know how to communicate this to Microsoft, so I'm trying this forum. Maybe I'm wrong about the update, but there might be someone out there who will have the same problems as I.
