FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 28, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 28, 2013 After a clean reinstall of Windows 7 with SP1 on my Lenovo ThinkPad E420, Windows Update is failing to work. I ran Lenovo System Update to get my drivers, but upon trying Windows Update, it prompts me to "Install new Windows Update software." I select "Install now" but it brings me to error message 80072ee2. On top of this, some applications (notably Chrome) fail to download. I disabled Windows Firewall but that didn't fix it.
