Logging In to Free PC Help Forum Has Changed

KB2804527- won't install. I get error message 0x8004FF84

This update I think has something to do with Microsoft Security Essentials which I have Installed. However when I run MSE it stops partway through and always at CWINDOWSSYSTEM32|Commtsadmin.tlb. Are they linked in some way? I am using Windows XP Home

Edition. Also I cannot uninstall MSE through Add or Remove Programs. Any help would be gratefully accepted.
