My norton security wont open after i accidentally uninstalled it and then restored system what can i

i did a fullsystem scan yesterday and when it finished i was offered a free update/upgrade seemingly by norton security, yet after downloading it found my norton security wouldn't open so i thought i uninstalled the program but found i'd uninstalled my

norton security, i restored system to the 23rd of april but my norton security still won't work, what can i do?
