FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 23, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 23, 2013 I have spoken to four people at Microsoft who have told me the same thing. To remove Windows Mail, I have to uncheck all the boxes on Windows SideShow that pertain to Windows Mail. This suggestion is not possible. On my SideShow gadget list, there are three graphics and then names for each: Outlook 2007, Media Player, and Windows Mail. None of these graphics can be altered. I tried double-clicking and clicking with both right and left mouse buttons. There are no boxes anywhere for me to click in order to disengage Windows Mail.I have no use for this device and it is a nuisance. The message "Windows Mail can compact the message store" appears almost every day.Can anyone help me get rid of "Windows Mail?" Thanks! View this thread Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
