Why do I have 32 bit listed in toolbars and extensions when I thought I was running win 7 64..do I h

My windows on IE7 do not run properly, google is so far, Mozilla is, it keeps giving me pop ups at the bottom of screen telling me that its not responding or asking to do more add ons I do not want..will I have to upgrade to 8 before I can fix it, I am tired

of ie 7 and tried to upgrade to 10 but do not know from my programs if it took or not..Help
