Logging In to Free PC Help Forum Has Changed

How do I turn off Essentials and use Defender, simple question should have a simple answer.

How do I turn off Essentials and use Defender, simple question should have a simple answer. I run Defender, but Essentials is on, does this mean Defender is non operable? I also see the great screens attributed to Defender, yet I don't have them when I

run Defender to scan my putor. Any suggestions?
