in my Windows 7 computer, Windows Media Player is set to play .mid and .midi files. When i try to play the file, it says there is a problem with the sound device however, it WMP plays videos, mp3 files with perfect sound. Registry setting for midioutID

is set to default audio device with data 0xffffffff. I have deleted the media database and allowed it to repopulate but still no sound. All settings match another computer with windows 7 that will play midi files. What is wrong?
