Computer tries to install update KB2742596 everytime I turn it off

Everytime I turn off my computer it says installing windows update 1 of 1.

 

I keep getting the following update error message The following updates were not installed. Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB2742596). Any idea how to solve this problem?
