How do I stop Windows Update icon from telling me to install updates that have already been installe

Windows Updates KB2656351 and KB2600217 have been (at first unknowingly) repeatedly installed, but the Update icon and the program itself keep telling me to install them. I ran the self diagnostic and it says default locations have changed, but it does

not say how to fix this. If this is the problem, how is it repaired?
