FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 16, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 16, 2013 I can connect to the internet using a hotspot and my home connection does work on other devices (my husband's computer, smart phone connection, etc.) The only way I can get it to connect is to remove the update (I believe it had changes to Security Essentials which I do run). Once removed I can connect just fine. I have an HP 64 bit laptop with Windows 7. Since it's a critical update I want it on my computer but not if I can no longer connect to the internet. I've restored all security setting to the defaults and turned off the firewall for my home connection - still didn't work. Any idea what settings I should check?
