FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 16, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 16, 2013 I recently purchased a jetpack from Verizon to which my Samsung Lumia and laptop share the data quota. Last night I downloaded quite a few Micro. updates after being off the computer for a few weeks and this morning got a nasty email that Id already gone over my data quota. Of course I didn't even take into consideration system updates into how much data Id need each month but now Im glad I didnt set my computer to automatically download. (Of course, Verizon Wireless didn't take system updates into account either)My question is how much data should I anticipate with monthly system updates, Win 7. I realize this is next to impossible to answer but a guess is better than nothing. Are there any tricks on minimizing the amount of data I use? (I was told by verizon that its better to sign into application, like Facebook, once and keep open rather than logging in and out) BTW, Verizon is the only carrier for cell phones in my area but I do have a choice with Internet.ThanksKricket View this thread Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
