FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 14, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 14, 2013 I started my computer today & it gets as far as the Windows logo & then the monitor goes to sleep & I can't see anything anymore. The screen is black. I've managed to start it in safe mode, & safe mode with networking. I've tried rolling it back to an earlier state using Windows Restore, but to no avail. The problem persists.I am running Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit, with Norton 360 for virus and internet security. Two things happened yesterday that might have caused this problem. I installed a new Razer DeathAdder mouse (and downloaded & installed the Razer software), & Windows installed an update when I switched the computer off last night.I scanned for malware on the off-chance too.Can anybody help me with this?
