Pentium 4 running software requiring 64 bits, etc. Is it possible?

I have a Pentium 4:&gt 992.9 MiB memory &gt(2) CPU's at 3.o GHz&gt 21.4 available disk space (with Linux installed, which I could remove). I want to run software requiring:&gtXP (64-bit compatible) (I was told the computer would run very slowly if I used anything other than XP)&gtMinimum 512MB RAM (1GB or more recommended) &gt600MB hard drive space required for software and user manual. &gtAn additional 2GB hard drive space is required for all VST/AU sounds included with Finale 2012.Is my computer capable of doing this with Windows XP at 64 bit? I was planning on buying a retailed new unused copy of XP Professional on Amazon. I am computer illiterate except for using software - similar to driving a car and not knowing what a clutch really
