Hi!Running 32-bit Win XP Pro SP3. Browser is Firefox 19.0.2.History: In March, I migrated from NIS to MSE. Immediately after MSE was installed, it detected Trojan:JS/Seedabutor.B.Microsoft Encyclopedia entryUpdated: Jan 21, 2013 | Published: Jan 11, 2013 AliasesTrojan.JS.Redirector.xa (Kaspersky)

  • JS.Redirector.175 (Dr.Web)

I deleted Java and emptied all temporary Internet files repeatedly.

So far, I've ran 4 scans (with some via Safe Mode) and nothing was found to exist,

including a MSE full scan. (CCleaner, Malwarebytes, MS Safety Scanner, TDSSKiller)

The Kaspersky alias is Trojan.JS.Redirector.xa but their TDSSKiller didn't detect anything.I've read several online postings about the manual removal of this Trojan but of the files mentioned, I can find few on my system. Before I follow non-MS instructions for removal, I wanted to ask MSE experts whether this is a real threat or a false positive. And, if it is real, what are the steps for removal and clean-up?Lastly, a MSE newbie question. If MSE is quarantining this particular Trojan, is my system secure and safe?Thank you for you dedicated time and attention!
