Error code: 800736B3 when trying to update

Getting Error code: 800736B3 when trying to install updates:

kb2799926It's Win 7 x64The error has only happened in the last week, since the last batch of updates.This install has been on for less than a month so is pretty clean, tried virus and spyware scan using Kaspersky and superantispyware nothing came up.Tried installing the Windows6.1-KB947821-v26-x64 hot fix, just sit's there, does nothing for ages and still does not fix any problems after several re starts.Tried the Microsoft fixit thing, says it "repairs windows update components" but it apparently does not as it comes up with exactly the same thing after re starts.

 

Tried manually downloading and installing the updates, they still fail.Tried rolling back windows to the earliest available slot, only 2 days ago, still didn't work.

Tried uninstalling all windows updates for the 2 previous weeks, still no joy.
