Windows Firewall Won't turn on after trojan

Hi,

I have windows 7 starter. I recently had a trojan virus on my computer it was called Trojan:Win32/Ramnit.A

This virus had caused me to not be able to turn on my security center but now it has been fixed and the security center works now. However, my action center is telling me that I need to turn on my firewall but it won't let me it says: Action Center can't

turn on Firewall. So I clicked turn it on manually but when windows firewall comes up it says "windows firewall is not using the recommended settings to protect your computer". Next to the message is a button which says "use recommended settings but when I

click on it an error message comes up saying: "Windows Firewall cannot change some of your settings. Error code:0x80070424. I used the diagnose and fix Windows firewall service problems automatically (Microsoft fix it).. I ran the program and after the troubleshooting

had completed it said that 2 issues were found:

1. Windows could not start windows Firewall.

2. Windows firewall service is not started.

Neither of them were fixed.

Please help!!!!
