Posted April 5, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Have Microsoft Office. Have been using microsoft security essentials for years. It is the only security program I have on my computer and I do weekly scans. The most recent update could not download. After starting my computer today the security essentials program would not start and I could not start it manually. I get the error message 0x800 106ba.
