Running XP 32-bit with SP3. Can't get Updates. I've tried manually and auto. Error message as in subject line ~ Website encountered a problem and cannot display the page. I've followed all advice in Community threads. I've run FixIt (WU): that always says

One or more Windows components needs to be repaired, then says it's fixed. But no change. The issue seems to be that some default location where Update data are stored has changed. it does not say what this is, or where it's been changed to. I then try to

see if I can get Updates. No luck. Run the FixIt again it says exactly the same thing as before ~ and that it's fixed again. Obviously not. Is there a simple patch or something that'll fix it. Thanks Mike
