I recently activated my microsoft office and student 2010. and checked for updates at that time it was part of the activation after activating this product windows update is saying i have 28 important updates. One of the update numbers caught my eye and

I thought I had seen the update already installed on my control panel. So I went to control panel and viewed all updates and I noticed there are duplicates updates already on my updates for various programs such as windows 7 updates office updates etc. I am

running windows 7 service pack 1. This is a brand new computer only been using for a week. Decided to activate the 2010 office student today and thats when i noticed that the duplicates were on my already installed updates. Now windows updates says I have

28 Important office updates to install. Has anyone had this issue and my products all came pre loaded the computer manf is Dell. Also anyone have a Dell if so can you please also tell me how to delete permanetly remove the Dell studio and how do I get rid

of all the junk they pre loaded my computer with. I have a support contract with Dell but usually I have to let them take control of my screen to &quotfix&quot anything and long story short I just want to be able to take care of these things myself. Not the best computer

skills but I had an incident with Dell don't want to get into it but really do not want them Taking over my screen again. So very sorry this is such a long post. Like I said I am not very computer savy and I am a senior citizen my friends have told me that

it is easy to uninstall things but there is alot of stuff pre loaded on this computer and I don't want to make it worse. Thanking you all in advance for any and all help you can give me. Thank you so very much I truly appreciate your support.
