FPCH Admin AWS Posted April 2, 2013 FPCH Admin Posted April 2, 2013 I am getting the following error messages from Outlook Express and can't download incoming email to my inbox or send via Outlook Express........'The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E'and 'An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C0133'I have Outlook Express 6 of 2004. All other functions that I use on the internet (browse, skype etc etc) are all working so it's not my internet connection.......I am using webmail as a workaround but must solve this problem. my service provider has checked all the relevant bits at their end and can find no problem pse help, ta, Laura in Australia View this thread Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
