Posted March 29, 201311 yr FPCH Admin After reinstalling the operating system on my old laptop (Dell Latitude D610 running XP sevice pack 2), whenever I try to run windows update I get an error 0x80244019. Attempting to install Microsoft Update supplies error 0x80240036. I am uncertain as to the source of the problem (a driver? something else?) and how to proceed.
