How can I replace windows 8 operating system and its media 12 with Windows XP with its media 11

I have just purchased a new computer with Windows 8 installed as its operating system, this system is of no use to me with its designer `bells and whistles' and little boys play things, I want something PRACTICAL.

The windows media player that comes with it is of no use to me at all as a musician and I want the version 11.

How can I replace Windows 8 with Windows XP on my computer.

 

I am sorry guys I have never been so disappointed in any piece of software as I am with Windows 8
