Posted March 21, 201311 yr Having installed the librarian software for my Jamman stereo loop pedal, there is a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager that means the usb driver for this device is not installed. I have tried uninstalling all the drivers in ' sound video and game controllers' and uninstalling drivers in 'usb devices' and tried to install this driver without success. I successfully installed the software and driver on my friends similar Windows 7 computer so it must be my os that is at fault. I also updated all the drivers on my computer(including chipset) to the latest versions using Driver genius. Ive exchanged many emails with Digitech tech support but they've given up on me. Does anyone have any ideas why my os wont allow me to install this driver(it works fine on my friends computer). Im using Windows 7 professional 64bit sp 1, the computer is Intel core i-7, asus psx79,32gig ,solid state drives Any help would be greatly appreciated,I've spent weeks trying to fix this,Thankyou
March 21, 201311 yr FPCH Admin I had the same problem with a bluetooth driver. It turned out that I was installing an outdated version even though the manufacturers site said it was the newest. I downloaded one version down from what they said was the newest and it installed and worked. The thing you should try is to search for an older driver and try installing it. You could also use device manager and uninstall the device and see if after reboot it installs itself correctly. It probably will fail however. You could also try system restore to a date before you installed any of the software or drivers. That will allow you to try a clean install of the software and driver. You might have corrupted the driver on install and the remnants left after removal are causing problems. Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
