Posted March 11, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Windows Storage Space and Intel raid driver. When I create a storage pool and add a hard disk then create the storage space. My intel raid driver stops working. Here is what I'm doing Create pool, adds the harddrive to use. The driver is ok at this point still working. Then I create a storage space which adds a virtural space using the pooled drive, it is after this creation of pooled space the driver stops working.^^ When creating the Pool everything is working fine. Could this be a conflict between Intels raid driver and Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller Event Log Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 3/11/2013 7:34:26 AM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: yoda Description: Faulting application name: IAStorUI.exe, version: 11.7.0.1013, time stamp: 0x50aa9318 Faulting module name: ISDI2.dll, version: 11.7.0.1013, time stamp: 0x50aa92da Exception code: 0xc0000417 Fault offset: 0x000462d0 Faulting process id: 0xd60 Faulting application start time: 0x01ce1e4c625a7b93 Faulting application path: C:Program Files (x86)IntelIntel® Rapid Storage TechnologyIAStorUI.exe Faulting module path: C:Program Files (x86)IntelIntel® Rapid Storage TechnologyISDI2.dll Report Id: a0ca9281-8a3f-11e2-beec-002421eb21a3 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2013-03-11T11:34:26.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>12684</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>yoda</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>IAStorUI.exe</Data> <Data>11.7.0.1013</Data> <Data>50aa9318</Data> <Data>ISDI2.dll</Data> <Data>11.7.0.1013</Data> <Data>50aa92da</Data> <Data>c0000417</Data> <Data>000462d0</Data> <Data>d60</Data> <Data>01ce1e4c625a7b93</Data> <Data>C:Program Files (x86)IntelIntel® Rapid Storage TechnologyIAStorUI.exe</Data> <Data>C:Program Files (x86)IntelIntel® Rapid Storage TechnologyISDI2.dll</Data> <Data>a0ca9281-8a3f-11e2-beec-002421eb21a3</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event> View the full article Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
