Posted March 10, 201311 yr FPCH Admin I installed an update to Windows Defender today, March 9, 2013, and every since, I cannot get Windows Defender to scan. It starts and runs for some files and then stops changing the Screen to Red and indicating that Windows Defender must be re-started. I have done this multiple times and also have checked all the security settings and they are o.k. and on as appropriate. I cannot find a way to uninstall and re-install.
