Posted March 10, 201311 yr FPCH Admin Hello windows community, i'm still new to this community and i hope i can provide clear details about my problem here. After a long time i uninstalled both microsoft office 2003 and 2010, windows update keeps notifying me to install update (about 15 updates ) for the two products and it annoys me so much. Even after installing the update and telling me to restart in order to finish the process, it keeps on repeating the same thing everytime. This wastes the time spend on shutting down the computer due to the updates being installed. I'm currently using a microsoft office 2013. Both the software and the updates are perfectly fine. The only problem is now why does the windows update keeps on telling me to install updates for office 2003 and 2010. I tried clearing the files of those two in "C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Office" and still doesn't work. I have ccleaner to clear and repair registry files still no result. Some information i provide for the update are as follows. The updates include the following:(office 2003)security update for access snapshot viewer 2003 (KB955439)security update for Ms Office 2003 (KB921598) & (KB953404)security update for MS Office Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher (2003)security update for MS Works Suite 2005 (KB943973)security update for Office 2003 (KB945185)security update for Office 2003 (KB954478)update for Microsoft Office 2003 (KB254854)update for Microsoft Office 2003 (KB978551)update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (KB953532)update for Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Filter (KB276887)update for Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Filter (KB276887)(office 2010)Definition Update for Microsoft office 2010 (KB982726) 32-Bit EditionUpdate for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2760631) 32-Bit EditionI would be very thankfull and appreciate for everyone who tried to participate and help me regarding the matter.
