Posted March 9, 201311 yr FPCH Admin I use Windows 8 and recently upgraded to Word 365. As an "old time" user, I have discovered that if I want to cleanly copy text from a webpage into Word without text formatting and links, the easiest thing to do is to paste the text in Notepad, copy the text, then paste again into Word. Unfortunately, I cannot copy any text from Notepad into Word. I can copy it to Excel, but not into Word. I have tried the File | Word Options | Advanced . . . Cut, Copy, and Paste section, but it still doesn't work no matter what I do. When I attempt to copy directly from the website I get the Paste Options, "Keep Source Formatting, " and "Merge Formatting," but the "Keep Text Only" option shows nothing. Again, this works as I expect it to in Excel. I just completed the latest Office 365 update. Does anyone have any ideas? View this thread Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
