Posted March 9, 201311 yr FPCH Admin I installed win8 pro build 9200 which was purchased from the Microsoft on-line shop and now I have a message telling me I have to activate windows. This is despite the fact that it has already been activated. On the rare occasion I could actually speak to someone at Microsoft about this I got the rather limp response of 'Oh that should not happen' They then took me through a complex series of 'fixes' which seemed to work, until, that is. I had to re-boot and got the 'activate windows' message again. This is now getting annoying as no one seems to know what is wrong and how to rectify it. Is there any way of deacivating the activate windows system? My serial has been confirmed as genuine by Microsoft so I know it is not a fraudulent copy issue.
