Windows Update Failure: Error Code 80248007

Running Windows Update never ends and logs all these events... last check for updates was 2013-01-13, but looking at update history MSE has been updating almost daily, but nothing else since "Update for Windows 7 (KB2786400)" on 2013-01-09, there are

a few other updates on the 9th also, all successful.

 

While Windows Update is checking it logs 3 event alsmot every other seconds...

 

 

There are 2 different fault buckets but every other event detail is similar.
