"A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval"

My laptop (Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7222, 64bit, Windows 7) keeps crashing, and started crashing soon after I bought it last June. I either get the blue screen message: "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor

within the allocated time interval", or it just freezes.

Monday I did a complete system restore of the OS, and started re-installing my programs, but when I got the blue screen again, I rolled it back to a restore point to where it's fresh from the system restore (before my program installs). And I just got

the blue screen AGAIN! That's with nothing (that it didn't come with) installed!

Tech info:

*** STOP: 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000031, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF880031D5180, 0x0000000000000003)

PLEASE HELP ME!

Thanks,

David
