KB2789642 plus 5 other updates continuously offered and installed.

I change my antivirus from Nortons to AVG2003 (Trial Version) Ran the different diagnostic programmes that came with AVG (I think this is where the problem lies) as my computer was very slow. My computer is a lot faster now,except for the problem of

Windows updates.

 

I install the six updates (kb 2789642, kb2656351, kb2604121, kb27425915, kb2729449, kb2737019,... but then the same updates are offered time and time again. Control panel shows they are already installed.

 

I've tried rebooting straight after installing them.

Running MS safety scanner, MS fixit and fixitcenter setup.

I've also tried turning off the AVG in msconfig, but after deselecting the AVG components it won't accept the change.

 

What can I do
