I'm having major problems with programmes not responding on my Dell Inspiron 1545, which runs Windows Vista Home Premium. It began a few months ago with the Internet but now it affects e-mail, Word, Adobe Reader etc. I have disabled all add-ons and tried

all the recommended fixes, including running Malawarebytes, cleaning and de-fragging the hard drive but nothing seems to work. Has anybody got any suggestions please?
