when i start my computer, I keep getting the "checking file system on C: the type of system is NTFS volume label is OS one of your disks need to be checked for consistancy? and it tells me it's highly recommended but i can press any key and get out of

the check. I'll admit, i never let it check because after 20min it tells me it's 1 or 2 percent done and i work on this computer.i realize others have asked about this similar issue and i have followed the answers they have recieved but the biggest issue is that others problems or responses to command prompt answers are different from mine and usually they have windows xp or whatever.so i don't know if this is related but i thought i will mention it and throw this brand new laptop in the trash if anymore issues come about!the system is freezing in the middle of video conference's and stats it's not responding, i cant download things like itunes store and windows update ONLY works if i go check for updates physically. i can't choose to have it installed automatically and on

voice calls on computer, audio playback is just skipping words or making noise like a CD that is stuck!i don't expect anyone to try to answer all of these questions but i would like to know what i can do to fix the C: drive?it's an ASUS with windows 7 and intel core 13 and 3 weeks old but it is headed for the trash if i can't work on it.thanks in advance
