Posted February 16, 201311 yr FPCH Admin When I go to try to download the update KB 2804527 and it is attempting to install under the System Security and then under Action Center it will show two listings of Microsoft Security Essentials and one holds the status of snooze while the other is active. The windows defender program which should be there and in the status of off is not showing at this moment in time when those two are showing. When the installation fails one of the Microsoft Security Essentials (the snooze one) disappears. The windows program defender then reappears. The download is still not working. I am unable to unistall the program and when I do I get the error that is the same as what the download is giving to me. Which is error code 0x0800FF80. If anything this just is proof as to how screwed up this program is and only this program thanks to the update getting messed up. This is occuring on Win7 64-bit SP1. I have tried several attempts of solutions to fix this however nothing has worked so far. View this thread Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
