We are seeing an issue of Excel and PDF files locking up and creating a 0kb temp file that can not be deleted. This is happening multiple times a day and the only way to delete the tmp file is to reboot the server. Users are getting this when

attempting to save their work from a Windows 8 machine to a Server 2012 file server. This issue is effecting our users' productivity, We have disabled the proactive virus software in hopes that it would fix the issue, however it does not seem to have

had any effect. We are still getting the same issue. Has anyone else seen this issue? Does anyone know a resolve for this?
