Security Update for Windows XP (KB2686509) fails on several attempts both auto and manual update.

The Go.Microsoft.com reference site to this security update is non-existant and automatically takes me to a non relevant site.

I've tried the support check Windows Utility and it successfully repaird something but still no change on my attempts to update.

I attepted to change my startup throught the msconfig utility but it still fails.

I've cold booted my computer with no change.

I've turned off Nortons 360 during the download and update and still no change.

In the automatic update mode it tries every night and shows me the failed message in the morning.
