The error code is 8024000DI have downloaded &amp installed the hotfix successfully, but the Win. Update will not install.

 

 

 

 

 

I.- What is your full version of windows (32bit or 64bit) and service pack level. (Right-click on My Computer &amp select Properties: What Windows version is displayed in the resulting General tab (e.g.,

Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 Windows Vista Home Edition Service Pack 2, Windows 8)

Windows 7 Home Edition-64 bit

 

II.- What browser (exact version) you are using. Google Chrome

 

III.- What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your subscription current? AVG Internet Security 2013 -Yes

 

IV.- Is a 3rd party firewall being used in place of the native Windows firewall ? NO - i use Windows Defender Firewall

 

Is this "software firewall" the Windows Firewall or a third-party firewall? If the latter, what is the name of this application? NA

 

V.- What other antimalware products are installed and running? .NA

VI.- Has any third party cləanup utility or registry cləaner been run on your system ? Yes

-AVG PC Cleaner

VII.- Which update(s) are you trying to install? (KB Number) Service Pack 1

VIII.- What ərror are you getting while trying to install updates? # 8024000d
